Hotel de Zeeuwse Stroom processes different kinds of personal data for different purposes. Below you will find a summary of which personal data we process.

2.1 Booking and accommodation details

When you make a booking for an overnight stay or an event, or reserve a table in our restaurant, or rent one of our conference rooms, you enter into an agreement with Hotel de Zeeuwse Stromen. In order to do so, we need to record personal details such as your first and last name, gender, whether you are 18 years or older, address, place of residence, telephone number, email address, payment details and date of arrival and departure. We may also receive this information from third parties where you have completed the booking process, such as Booking.com. In case of a business reservation we also ask for the name of your company with address details and a billing address. In some cases, additional personal data is also processed, such as dietary requirements, disabled access or other requirements and preferences. All these data are used only internally and are not passed on to organizations for commercial purposes.

We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary, unless there is a legal obligation on us to keep your personal data longer. Our basic principle is that we will only keep personal data for as long as it is necessary to be able to provide you with our products and/or services. 2.2 Camera surveillance

On and around the premises of Hotel de Zeeuws Stromen there is camera surveillance which is active day and night. This is indicated by stickers at, among others, our entrance. These cameras are intended to protect our guests and our property. Through these camera images there is insight into the activities of persons. These images are privacy sensitive and we try to protect them as much as possible. Camera images are only viewed and possibly provided to third parties (eg police) if there is an urgent reason, think of burglary, theft or other crimes. We do not use camera surveillance in the hotel rooms, public toilets or in the wellness facilities. Our camera images are kept for a maximum of 7 days.

2.3 Application procedure

If you wish to apply for a position at Hotel de Zeeuwse Stromen, you are required to submit a full curriculum vitae with a covering letter by e-mail or post. This includes several personal details, such as your first and last name, gender, age, address, place of residence, telephone number, e-mail address, educational level and work experience. This personal data is only used internally by an assigned employee and is not shared with third parties. This data will be kept for a maximum of 4 weeks, unless permission is granted from the applicant this retention period will be extended to a maximum of one year.
