Room

What types of accommodation do you offer?

At Hotel de Zeeuwse Stromen you will always stay comfortably and within walking distance of the coast. Each of our hotel rooms is accessible by elevator and stairs and is equipped with a television, large mirror and a safe. Do you prefer a wooded area? Then please have a look at our accommodation types at the adjacent Duinpark.

What is the difference between a Dune Room and a Dune Apartment?

A Dune Room has two floors with the toilet, living room and small terrace on the first floor. Upstairs is the sleeping area and a bathroom with shower.
Our Dune Apartments overlook the outdoor pool and have one room containing the living and sleeping area. The Dune apartment has a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. The Dune apartments on the first floor have a terrace and the upper Dune apartments have a roof terrace and are only accessible by stairs.

Are there coffee and/or tea facilities in the room?

In our hotel, rooms are not equipped with their own coffee and tea facilities. However, you can get coffee at various points in the corridor. At the Dune Park, the Dune Rooms and Dune Villas are equipped with a coffee and tea facility (Nespresso). Cups are sold at our reception. 

Is there a refrigerator in the room?

Both our hotel rooms in the main building and the accommodation types in the adjacent Duinpark are equipped with a (mini) refrigerator.

Is there air conditioning in the rooms?

Our rooms are not equipped with air conditioning. The windows of the rooms that catch the most sunlight are covered with a sun-resistant foil. This innovative film blocks 99% of UV radiation and 69% of solar energy. Thanks to these properties, we can keep the rooms cool in a green way.

If you nevertheless need extra cooling, we have fans available at our reception on request.

Do you have rooms with sea view?

No, our hotel is located 300 meters from the beach but behind the dunes. For this reason we cannot see the beach or the sea.

How often is the room cleaned?

In line with our green credentials, your room is fully cleaned every three days as standard. However, you may count on a daily refresh of the room, in which the bed is made, the towels are changed and the dustbin is emptied. If you would like a full room cleaning, please let our reception know. 

Check in and check out

What time can I check in and out?

Our check-in time is from 15:00, check-out is until 11:00.
We cannot guarantee if it is possible to check-in earlier.

Is it possible to book day-use?

This is possible on request when the occupancy allows it. The costs are € 30,-, you can then use your room until 17.00 hours.

Can I still use the facilities after check-out?

After checking out you may still use our bar.
When occupancy permits, you may also use our swimming and wellness facilities.

Facilities

Is there free Wifi?

Both in the main building and in the Duinpark there is a free Wifi connection.

How do I book a table in the restaurant?

When you stay at De Zeeuwse Stromen, you book a stay on the basis of bed and breakfast. Would you like to dine in our restaurant? With our various concepts, we offer something for everyone. Here you can read all about our restaurant, menus and the possibility to make reservations.

How do I rent a bike?

It is easy to hire a bicycle online. Thanks to our collaboration with Fietsverhuur Zeeland, the desired number of bikes will be ready for you at Hotel de Zeeuwse Stromen. Would you rather make a reservation through our reception? If so, please drop by, or contact us in advance by telephone.

What facilities does the wellness offer?

Our wellness includes a heated indoor pool, saunas and a Turkish steam bath. It is not possible to reserve seats.

What are the opening hours of the heated indoor swimming pool and the wellness area?

Every day you can relax in our swimming and wellness area.The facilities are open between 7 AM and 11 PM. For the exact opening hours and availability of our massage practice, see the page about massages.

Swimwear is mandatory for all facilities and under 12 years -> supervision of an adult is required.

Are swimwear required in the wellness facilities?

Yes, bathing suits are mandatory in all wellness facilities.

Can I use the facilities of the hotel when I stay at the Duinpark?

When you stay in a Dune Room, Dune Apartment or Dune Villa you can of course make use of all our facilities. Think of the indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, steam bath and so on.

Massages

How do I book a massage?

Our masseurs Giovanni and Mariëlle will be happy to take care of you. Reservations are always subject to availability. More information on rates and booking can be found here.

How to get a gift voucher for massage practice Tijd voor Jezelf aan Zee?

Do you also wish someone else a moment of ultimate relaxation? Then surprise them with a gift voucher from our in-house massage practice Tijd voor Jezelf aan Zee. This voucher can only be redeemed at the massage practice in Renesse. Simply order your gift voucher by e-mail.

Dogs

Where in the hotel are dogs allowed?

We are a dog friendly hotel. Your dog is welcome in a number of designated rooms, terrace, bar and restaurant.

Where can I find your dog policy?

In order to keep the stay pleasant for each of our hotel guests, we have summarized a number of tips and advice in our dog policy

What are the accommodation costs per dog?

An amount of € 17,50 per night is charged per dog. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per room. 

Parking

Is it paid parking?

As a guest of De Zeeuwse Stromen, you can park in our own parking lot. Drive straight towards the hotel and a narrowing will take you to our grounds. There are parking spaces on both the left and the right.  The parking lot is closed every evening by means of barriers. The parking fee is € 6,50 per room per night from April to October.

Near our entrance we have two disabled parking spaces and on the right side there are 4 charging stations for electric cars. 

The unsupervised municipal parking lot - in front of the hotel - is paid parking between April 1 and October 31. Costs are € 16,- per day. 

Is it possible to charge electric cars at the hotel?

We have 6 electric charging stations on our own parking lot.
The costs are € 0.42 per kW / h.
On the municipal parking lot are another 2 charging stations.

How and where do I buy a De Zeeuwse Stromen gift voucher?

The De Zeeuwse Stromen gift voucher is available at reception. If you are at home and would like to surprise someone with our gift voucher, it is still possible to order a gift voucher at our reception. The value is up to you. Only the shipping costs will be charged additionally. Please send your inquiry by e-mail.
