Room types hotel building

What room types does the hotel building have?

The hotel building has 78 rooms, including two family rooms and two suites. Please have a look at our room types

We are a family with young children. Do you also have family rooms?

Yes, our hotel building has two family rooms specially equipped for families with children up to the age of 11. The children's room has a door that can be closed and is equipped with a solid bunk bed. If our family rooms have already been rented out, we also have rooms with a connecting door. Ask our reception about the possibilities!

Do you have hotel rooms with sea view?

Our hotel is located behind the dunes. When it is quiet outside, you can hear the sea although it cannot be seen from the room. 

Are the hotel rooms equipped with air conditioning?

Our rooms are not equipped with air conditioning. The windows of the rooms that catch the most sunlight are covered with a sun-resistant foil. This innovative film blocks 99% of UV radiation and 69% of solar energy. Thanks to these properties, we can keep the rooms cool in a green way. If you nevertheless need extra cooling, we have fans available at our reception on request.

Is the hotel room equipped with a fridge?

Yes, each of our hotel rooms is equipped with a mini-fridge

Room types Dune Park

What different room types does the Dune Park offer?

The Dune Park offers three different room types, namely: Dune Rooms, Dune Apartments, Dune Villas. Depending on the size of your party (or how much space you prefer), you can choose an accommodation that fits your needs. 

How many people does each of the room types at the Dune Park accommodate?

Thanks to the different room types at the Dune Park, we always offer suitable accommodation for parties of 2 to 6 people. Dogs are allowed in some of these rooms. Consult our room page for additional information per room type. 

When I stay overnight at the Dune Park, do I use all the facilities?

Yes, even when you stay overnight at our adjacent Dune Park you will use all the facilities. 

Is each of the rooms at the Dune Park equipped with a fridge?

Yes, each of the room types at the Dune Park is equipped with a (mini) fridge. 

Room cleaning

My room is refreshed daily. What does this entail?

Your room is refreshed daily which means that towels are changed and the trash is emptied.

How often will my room be cleaned?

 In line with our green policy, your room will be fully cleaned by default after every third night, where you can also count on a linen change. 

Would you still like a full room cleaning?

Of course, we gladly comply. If you would like your room to be fully cleaned, please hang the hanger visibly on the room door before 09.00 in the morning. Our housekeeping is at your service.  

I prefer not to be disturbed in the morning. How do I make this known?

If you wish to sleep in peace, make sure the "Do not disturb" hanger is hanging on the door handle. If so, our housekeeping will not enter your room. They make several rounds every day from 9 a.m. onwards. Should you reconsider a refresh later in the day, please remove the hanger between 09.00 and no later than 12.00 in the morning.

I am staying with a dog. How often will my room be cleaned?

Dogs are, although at an additional cost, welcome in our dog-friendly room types. When your four-legged friend stays with us, your room is cleaned every day. Again, your linen is changed after every third night.

What can I do myself to reduce waste?

Are your towels still clean? Towels that are not on the floor are not changed and washed unnecessarily. This way, we avoid wasting water.

Accessibility

I have mobility problems. Is the hotel wheelchair-friendly?

Yes, our hotel is wheelchair-friendly with wide passages through which a wheelchair can easily pass. In addition, the hotel building has a lift to reach each of the rooms. One of our rooms is fully wheelchair-friendly, including a lowered bed and an adapted bathroom. Please note that only the changing rooms of our wellness area are less accessible by wheelchair. 

Does the hotel building have a lift?

Yes, our hotel building is equipped with a lift that allows access to each of the hotel rooms. 

Do you have a wheelchair-friendly room?

Yes, in the hotel building we have a fully wheelchair-friendly equipped hotel room. This room is equipped for two persons and has a lowered bed as well as an adapted bathroom. 

I would like to spend a day at the beach. Do you rent a (electric) beach wheelchair?

Yes, we have both a manual and electric beach wheelchair available. As a hotel guest, you can use this free of charge. We have one of each type. To avoid disappointment, we advise you to reserve the wheelchair in advance. 

Is the wellness area wheelchair accessible?

Our wellness area (including massage practice) is wheelchair-accessible. The same applies to the indoor pool, which is accessible by wheelchair from outside. However, our changing room is less accessible if you move around by wheelchair. 

Reception

What languages are spoken?

Each of our receptionists is proficient in Dutch, English and German both spoken and written. 

Is the reception staffed at all times?

Our reception is manned 24 hours a day. 

Check in and check out

What time can I check in and out?

Our check-in time is from 15:00, check-out is until 11:00. During the weekends on Saturday and Sunday you will check out one hour later, at 12.00pm. Due to room cleaning, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to check in earlier than the stated time. 

Is it possible to book day-use?

This is possible on request when the occupancy allows it. The costs are € 30,-, you can then use your room until 17.00 hours.

Can I still use the facilities after check-out?

After checking out you may still use our bar.
When occupancy permits, you may also use our swimming and wellness facilities.

Facilities

Is there wifi?

Both in the main building and at the Duinpark, you can use our network free of charge. 

How do I rent a bike?

It is easy to hire a bicycle online. Thanks to our collaboration with Fietsverhuur Zeeland, the desired number of bikes will be ready for you at Hotel de Zeeuwse Stromen. Would you rather make a reservation through our reception? If so, please drop by, or contact us in advance by telephone.

What facilities does the wellness offer?

Our wellness includes a heated indoor pool, sauna and a Turkish steam bath. It is not possible to reserve seats.

What are the opening hours of the heated indoor swimming pool and the wellness area?

Every day you can relax in our swimming and wellness area.The facilities are open between 7 AM and 11 PM. For the exact opening hours and availability of our massage practice, see the page about massages.

Swimwear is mandatory for all facilities and under 12 years -> supervision of an adult is required.

Are swimwear required in the wellness facilities?

Yes, bathing suits are mandatory in all wellness facilities.

Restaurant

I would like to join you for dinner. How do I book a table?

When you stay at De Zeeuwse Stromen, you book a stay on the basis of bed and breakfast. Would you like to dine in our restaurant? With our various concepts, we offer something for everyone. Here you can read all about our restaurant, menus and the possibility to make reservations.

I have an eating or dietary requirement. What should I do?

Besides being mindful of our surroundings, we at De Zeeuwse Stromen also pay attention to each other. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please let us know in good time. Our kitchen staff will be happy to take this into account during preparations. 

Do I always book including breakfast?

At De Zeeuwse Stromen, your stay (unless otherwise stated) is always on the basis of bed and breakfast. Only when staying in a Dune Villa, breakfast is not included as standard.

Massages

How do I book a massage?

Our masseurs Giovanni and Mariëlle will be happy to take care of you. Reservations are always subject to availability. More information on rates and booking can be found here.

How to get a gift voucher for massage practice Tijd voor Jezelf aan Zee?

Do you also wish someone else a moment of ultimate relaxation? Then surprise them with a gift voucher from our in-house massage practice Tijd voor Jezelf aan Zee. This voucher can only be redeemed at the massage practice in Renesse. Simply order your gift voucher by e-mail.

Dogs

Where in the hotel are dogs allowed?

We are a dog friendly hotel. Your dog is welcome in a number of designated rooms, terrace, bar and restaurant.

What are the accommodation costs per dog?

An amount of € 17,50 per night is charged per dog. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per room.

In order to keep the stay pleasant for each of our hotel guests, we have summarized a number of tips and advice in our dog policy

Parking

Parking on the hotel premises

As a guest of De Zeeuwse Stromen, you can park in our own parking lot. Drive straight towards the hotel and a narrowing will take you to our grounds. There are parking spaces on both the left and the right.  The parking lot is closed every evening by means of barriers. The parking fee is € 6,50 per car per night from April to October. Close to the main entrance, we have 2 disabled parking spaces.

Is it possible to charge electric cars at the hotel?

We have 6 electric charging stations on our own parking lot.
The costs are € 0.42 per kW / h.
On the municipal parking lot are another 2 charging stations.

Parking in the municipal car park

The municipal car park is located in front of the hotel. This area is not guarded. TIn the period from 1 April to 31 October, it is paid parking. Charges are € 16 per day or € 2.65 per hour.

How and where do I buy a De Zeeuwse Stromen gift voucher?

The De Zeeuwse Stromen gift voucher is available at reception. If you are at home and would like to surprise someone with our gift voucher, it is still possible to order a gift voucher at our reception. The value is up to you. Only the shipping costs will be charged additionally. Please send your inquiry by e-mail.
